
to serve:
bring the milk with salt and butter to boil in a large pan. whisk in the semolina and cook for a couple of minutes, stirring the whole time, until the mixture comes off the sides of the pan.
when cool enough to handle with hands, add 2 whole eggs and knead until smooth. add another egg if it's too thick.
make logs about 10 cm in diameter. cut thick slices from the logs, place a strawberry well coated in caster sugar in the middle and by pulling out the edges, close well and roll into a ball.
bring a large pan of water to boil and cook the dumpling in batches until they float to the surface.
serve with the melted butter, icing sugar and crumbled quark.
